Bible Scriptures

 God's word has been revealed in both the Scriptures and in his incarnate Son- Jesus Christ. Jesus, in describing the importance of the eternal Scriptures said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matt.4:4).

He also commended the steadfast inquiry in the Word of God: " Search the Scriptures.... they...... testify of Me"

(John 5:39). For the individual or group to grow and thrive in Christian living, the Bible is essential. The Scriptures are the conclusive standard for our faith, morals, and practical living.

They are nourishing for our rising to strength in faith, holiness, in living, and effectiveness in service.

The Holy Spirit who comes to fill us is the same Person who has given us the Book to guide and sustain us.

God's word feeds our Soul (Deut. 8:3)

Spiritual survival is not possible for long whithout Feeding upon the Word of God.

Show your Faith before you share it.

Know your Faith so you can show it.

Sowing Good words from the Heart (Ps. 19:14)

We are to speak the words that confirm what we believe about God, His love and His power.

Study Matthew this week you will be inspired.

2 Timothy 4

verse 1: I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:

verse 2: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

verse 3: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up  for themselves teachers;

verse 4: and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

verse 5: But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

verse 6: For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Continue on to finish chapter Verses 9-22 and don't stop there, Renew your mind daily in the word.

Matthew

13 Ye are the salt of the earth; but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 let you light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Continue to read the word of God and put on your suite and armor
